Hi
I would like to post a FOR SALE advert here. However I have offered it on a postcard in a bike dealer's and on the Airhead Facebook page.

Does this mean I would be breaking the rule about advertising in another place?

Could the Mods advise please?

George

It's your bike, advertise is as many places as you feel necessary :nenau

Hi
here are pictures but I'm not sure I'm allowed to advertise it cos I have it on a Facebook page.

That is why no price nor description. I am too weak to ride it now! Well that's not quite true, I Can ride, but not move it on the ground.

Could a Mod let me know please?

Hi
Thanks JJH, Here are the details and price. Thanks Tommac (I wish I knew how to do that)

1992 BMW R100R,£2500 £2250 Paralever The last of the Airheads Black and Silver 1992, Mine 15 years. North Manchester

Speedo shows 48000 miles done around 5K more. I used a GPS until It was rebuilt

Gearbox rebuild, Bearing selector upgrade, New UJ on the drive shaft. Front brake converted to Braided hoses and New Rotors All done by Noel Fletcher at 4 Ways Edenfield.

Alarm, Legshields, Hand guards, Fork gaiters, Keihan Stainless balance box and Heated grips. Can come with panniers, Haynes and Clymer if you dont chip my price.

Dry storage, but off side downpipe has gone scabby.

Not ridden since 2 years ago, I went to get an MoT and took pictures. The time before that was a year before when, I took it for an MoT. I haven't used the bike since Pre-Covid.

Got it out, Took Leg shields off, Brushed it, Snow-Foam and washed that off. It looked Great, maybe an 8 but definitely 7/10. Then coated it in ACF50, Took a few pictures and struggled to put it back in the garage. I really am too weak for a bike i loved.

I am happy to provide tyre kickers with tea, but I cant talk much, although happy to listen.

I am hoping to ride something lighter so would consider a swap, maybe a 310R?

George

Your welcome. I don’t know your circumstances but you may be better off with a scooter or a crossover type of thing I believe a Honda x350 might suit? JJH

Hi JJH
Scooter, may be right. Honda is heavier and lower power than the BM,

CB350 is also same power, but more torque than my CB250 which is 50Kg lighter.
