Does anyone know a website where I can download an owners manual for my bike? I have the Haynes, BUT this doesn't inform me about the mundane items, such as how do I adjust the screen, which I thought adjusted up and down (as told to me by the previous owner) when in fact it tilts.

i've tried googling it to no avail.

And a BMW Workshop Manual

I took my R100RT 1989 apart to give it a good going over and I can't get my screen fitted properly. The previous owner had modified its mounting and I think I'm short of original parts.

I've just found a Surefoot side stand that will fit your bike. Have you got a decent one on yours or just the original?
