I rode my '79 RT to Gent, via the south coast, and here are a few photos:

The bike ran well, and despite a nearly bald rear Conti K112, handled beautifully.

All photos from an iPhone 5S, processed with Instagram.

I like trips like that; not actually far to go but you feel like you've really been 'away' IFKWIM.

Nice pictures and it looks like the weather was good to you :beerjug:

That is a great looking bike David I did have one the same color but silly me sold it.
I know you've had it a long time , when did you get it ?

I know you've had it a long time , when did you get it ?

Well, I've had two...

The first one I bought in the early '80's, and rode it to Nordkapp in '84.

But I lost it, and always kept an eye out for another one.

I got this bike in the summer of 2007, and I'll never sell it ;)

Lost it ! :blast:D I've lost my keys before but .......

I hope that's not a ja Dave never

Can't say I blame you there's not a lot they won't do . In any weather too.

Lost it ! :blast:D

Well, in more detail:

I crashed it, only had 3rd party Insurance, so converted it into an R100.

Then after a year, I sold it to a mate for a few quid...

Sad, but true... and symptomatic of the foolishness of youth.

I now have a set of lovely Conti RB2 front, and K 112 rear tyres fitted...

Thanks to mikeyboy who did an excellent job of fitting them, thanks :thumb

What's your choice of camera ?

The photos on this Thread were all done on an iPhone 5S.

For more serious stuff I use a variety of cameras.

My favourite are the Fujifilm X-Pro1, X-T1 and X-E1.

Fuji lenses used are 14mm, 18mm, 35mm and 60mm.

I also use Canon EOS5D Mk2 and Mk3, with various lenses.

For 35mm film I use an ancient Zenit, Olympus OM1 & OM2.

Then there's the Fuji 6x9 rangefinder, and a 1950's MPP 5x4 plate camera.

But really, it isn't the camera, it's what you have to say, that counts! ;)
