Purchased new, from Williams of Cheltenham. 22/11/1979, Smoke Red, £3,300. A lot of money in those days. And if i could figure out how to add a photo, I would:nenau

Thanks mate. I have changed her a little over the years - handlebar mounted brake cylinder to replace the standard "under the tank" set up; 1984-on spec. Brembo brakes, twin plug ignition, but otherwise pretty much as you see here.

I've done that too, much better, but I've kept the ATE calipers.

I did think of changing the hopeless rear disc to a drum set up,

But it was simply too much money.

Yours looks fantastic :thumb2

I have retro-fitted spoke wheels, & I'd forgotten, a rear drum. Collected bits & bobs over the years, so not too pricey. I must get an up to date photo. I don't go far on the old girl nowadays, but after all these years I am rather attached to her.

That red is my favourite colour. If I ever get mine restored I'm tempted to change the colour to the smoke red.
