R1100 GS Colour scheme

How rare is this R1100GS colour scheme ?

I've never seen one for sale

The 1100GS was marketed in white in the USA, but not the UK IIRC>>>

At launch in the uk 1994 scheme was white or red with a yellow seat, in 95 I seem to remember it was black or red with yellow seat - I bought a black one. Best colour scheme ever on any GS IMHO.

And where did the calahari yellow come in the picture? I've got a 97 calahari yellow, maybe different in Norway?

White is rare?

Well I never. Acsherly... Mine's a custom jobbie. "Chamonix white" as used by BMW on a few cars in the early 70s.

So even rarerer.



Originally Dakar... Then a previous owner turned it black (the rotter). I'm not exactly a fan of black bikes... So I had it resprayed PDQ. Must be 8yrs ago now.. Or thereabouts.

My UK '94 is red with a black seat...

The look good in white though (OEM or re sprayed)
