Had this 2.5 years, loved it but commute now is a bit longer so bought a smaller GS, not using this enough. 40k miles.
Id say excellent condition, some history MOT to end Feb 26 rides really well.
Extras inc full luggage (one key), with liners, engine bars, Givi lamps, NOS tank bag, higher screen plus deflector.
New battery last summer, good tyres.
Needs to go to a good home. Looking for £4,500 Ono.
Located South Warwickshire.
Thanks

Bumpety bump, anyone - bit surprised I’ve had little interest after it took so long to find a sensibly priced one of these before. I know market is generally iffy but decent bikes and cars are still selling if priced appropriately. Spotted one at dealer end of last year for £5500, was lower mileage but did sell and recent 100k miler was almost £2k so sensible comments and advice welcome. Thanks

I think you are optimistic at £4500
Bike sales are v slow in today’s market place
Looked at a few 1100’s latterly and £3.5-£3.5k seems appropriate for sub 50k bikes in good condition
I looked at a similar 1999 bike to yours with same miles and no corrosion (except spokes) but with better extras (TT panniers & 2 Wilbers shocks & Remus exhaust & original) than yours, at £2.500

Also note cant edit original post, is that new?

£2,500 is a more realistic price for an 1100GS in a similar condition to yours.

Thanks, I’ll repost with a lower price guide, don’t seem to have edit option on my view.

Thank you Captain Black, that reminds me, must dig out my Captain Scarlet DVD!!

I was under the impression that as so few of the 75th Anniversary bikes are left they might attract a premium, hmmm

OK ladies and gentlefolk, with responses above, lets go for offers considered, but please be sensible - cash only, children, spouses (unless you are married to Cameron Diaz) and pets not accepted!

I agree... It was overpriced originally and private sellers have to be very realistic at the moment... Also the 75th was a bonny paint job but it was a paint job special... Lastly, top dollar bikes usually require top effort prep for the photos and pristine condition...😉

@CV35Ian . Eventually sold mine 18 months ago for the realistic price suggested above. £2500 ish.
60k + new clutch and vg condition, with lots of extras including panniers, tank bag, sergeant seats, spare sets of alloys, Remus etc etc plus all original parts .

Its down to what someone wants to pay but £4500 ?

Agree, I'd just done the mid point ish between the one at the dealers that did sel and the 100K mile one albeit the tangerine tosser over the pond has trashed markets worldwide and it is affecting people's confidence and prices. Have had two sensible offers, considering the higher one at the moment. Forgot as well mine has very comfy seat upgrade.

It was a paint job, plus a couple of stripes and a dinky 75th badge as well :) Im using it daily and HS2 works have made a mess of the roads, that dirt is paid for by the taxpayer!!!!

I like em... I'm on my 5th, it's just the harsh reality of a niche bike in a poor bike market... We don't want to mess with people's sales but there are reasons why things sell or don't... The other advice is keep it as many of the other bikes will be a disappointment...👍🤣

Yep and if the tangerine tossed from across the pond hadn’t blown my short term cashflow into oblivion I would keep it.
As a commuter and occasional tourer I do like my 650GS Twin though when it works…..

Ebay produced the usual idiots (will you swap for an old camera plus a sofa and some cash etc!!) but as above consensus is its worth £2,500, so for the ukgser folk, first £2,500 gets it - for that price you won't be disappointed (I might be but thats life as long as it goes to a good home).
