My fork seal is leaking and I have to change it. Figured I may as well do both. I have done it before on a motorcycle with a standard fork setup and I have looked on YouTube and read the manual and it seems fairly straightforward. It also looks easier than standard forks are. am I missing anything or is there any secrets I need to know about?

Look in the stickies at the top of the page, there’s a “Steptoe” how to on the seals.
They’re not like normal seals , they only have to keep the oil in, the shock absorber does the work

Before you condemn your seals it may be worth trying a 'seal mate'. Basically they are a very thin film of plastic which is used to remove dirt around the circumferance of the seal. They actually work!

As has already been mentioned. At the top of the 1100/1150 tech section is a sticky, titled "Oilhead Info & Tips.

Here's the Fork Seal fitting part.
