R1100GS fork seals

Bugger when I was out a run last nite down the Galloway forest park hit an almighty pot hole..jeez I'm glad I had the gearbox hard parts fitted or I'm pretty sure the shock would've cracked the gearbox mount..anyhoo after a few miles I happened to notice oil coming out off the left fork leg..bugger think it popped the seal ..jus so happens I've a new one spare so.looks like I'll be doing that after work least it's sunny

I wouldn't worry - clean it off and if the seal is still seated see what happens.

The oil in the fork has no purpose other than lubrication.

Oh no, not another signature....
