So was faffing about with the GS earlier checking the swingarm/rear wheel for play as Ive been getting weird vibes thru the bike and a bit wayward in the bends..kinda like rear wheel steer so thought it might be the ol FD bearing going awol checked it for play as you do ..fine .. swing arm for play nxt nope its fine too ..but found by chance that when I lifted up the back wheel/swingarm and let it drop till the wheel touched down there was a clunk 
,hmm is coming from the bottom shock bearing ? nope its fine checked top one too ..fine shifted round to the left side to see if there was anything loose and low an behold the subframe/gearbox bolt was loose ..if I remember correctly I have hit quite a few potholes the past few months but never thought anything of it ..they must have shocked the bolts loose..tightened them back up and no clunk..
was gonna put some threadlock on them but decided against it ..how many folk check their bikes subframe bolts ?
