R1100GS valve covers

On my 1997 R1100GS, the valve cover coating is starting to flake & look grotty.
Looking for a pair of used valve covers to put on the bike while I refurb the originals.
Must be lots out there !

How long does it take to remove them, rinse in degreaser (fairy works well) and spray them with a rattle can..?

I did mine with high build primer, then a black crinkle-finish and refitted them within the day. A quick respray every now and again is enough to keep them smart
