Hello,

Bolt is turning together with the stand. I tried heating stand's bracket, tried "rust inhibitor" spray, tried breaker bar. No luck so far.

Has anybody had the same issue or ideas how to remove it?

Part NR 10: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...21-BMW-R_1150_GS_00_0415,0495_&diagId=46_0576

Left hand side of the bike: http://s430.photobucket.com/user/metallic_lt/media/IMG_20160302_124014739_HDR_zpsodezsyjz.jpg.html

Thank you!

thats not a bolt its like a bush with orings on it never removed one on my gs but i i have on an lt 1200. i put an circlip around it in the small grove then with 2 flat head screw drivers slowly pulled it out

There's one of them either side of the stand and they're joined together by an 8mm threaded bar.Hold the one so it can't move and undo the other side then knock whichever one doesn't come out through the stand.I doubt that they're both seized in there.

Thank you, everybody!

I removed stand spring, bracket NR 4 on the right hand side and pushed stand to the left which gave me enough space to cut seized bolt from the left with Dremel tool and finished with a saw to cut metal. I cut it between spacer and bracket.

Vern: I would not recommend knocking it at all. The part of engine 8mm threaded bar goes thru is aluminium. Look at the end of the bolt! It resting on the grove inside. U will be knocking against inside groove.

moonhead911: Pulling seized bush / bolt out that i couldn't even turn with breaker bar? OK ... :)
