What's the accepted solution (I've tried a forum search and a web search  ) when there's a Y pipe replacing the CAT so nothing for the centre stand (in the up position) to stop against with its cute wee rubber bumper thingy?

Please point me in a thread direction or post a photo- prepared to cobble together an improvised technical solution  esp if it includes cable ties...

Both the Remus and Keihan Y pieces that I had both had a bar on them that acts as a stop for the centre stand , can only suggest looking online for pics of these and then get one mage out of stainless and welded on.

Or the alternative would be a length of stainless steel bar say 25 mm wide and about 6 to 8mm deep that would be long enough to form around the collector in a P shape with the tail part of it that takes the stop rubber being double thickness. You would have to drill both parts of the tail where the joint of the two legs of the P shape are to take a bolt to hold it tight on the collector.

Thanks Neil- I see what you mean, and I've found a few similar with a steel strip folded over to form an angle, and the two ends welded above and below the collector to form a o>

It's the second of your two options. A V shaped piece of stainless welded to top and bottom of the exit pipe.
