Hi,

Ive just fitted a decat y piece and remus can to my 2000 model r1150gs.
I have removed the ccp plug and would like to know the procedure for doing an ecu reset to allow the bike to run the richer map?
I have used the search function on the forum but cant find what i need.
I believe it involves removing a fuse for a while and twiting the throttle to fully open 3 times, but which fuse?

Thanks in advance.

Garry

Pull Fuse 5 out, count to ten, put it back. Turn on the ignition (but don't press the starter) and open the throttle fully three times.

Job jobbed.

All that does is show the TPS/ECU the throttle range, from closed to fully open.
It does it itself when you use it.

It doesn't reset the ecu to run a different setting.
You're crediting the 1150 with far more complexity than it's simple system can accomplish. :D

Ha ha, well i live and learn.

So pull the relay and fuse and job jobbed then?

Ill the bike without the ccp first and then try it with your mod Steptoe, thanks for the quick replies :beerjug:

Dosn't one just adjust the bbs' to compensate for the new pipe?

I'm probably wrong as always but ...

Well after trying the bike with remus and decat pipe I've decided that to save my hearing its best to use the stock silencer with the decat pipe.
CCP removed and the bikes running the best it ever has and a plus point is the surgin . That used to occur on the bike has gone.
Thanks for all the help.
