R1150GSA Rugged Roads Engine Guard

I have bought an engine guard from rugged roads but it states on the ad that I will need new spacers (longer) to make it fit with crash bars fitted.

Has anybody fitted one before to their bike with crash bars and know the size spacers required?

I have stainless steel pipe at work so can knock them up no problem. Just need a hand with the spacer sizes whilst I am indoors at work?

I have Hepco & Becker crash bars and had no issue fitting the guard with the spacers provided on my 1150GSA.

Really? They actually state that it won't fit on their advert.

Do the hepco and Becker have the brace bar that runs in front of the alternator belt housing?

Nope. Tried it again today and it definitely didn't fit. I had to remove the cross bar in order to get it to fit.

In order to keep the cross bar on I had to ditch the spacers that were sent and use 20 6mm washers.

I need to measure the size and get the right size spacer cut down at work.
