R1150R as a 2nd bike?

I have seen an 05 R1150R with 26000 miles on it but without service history but VGC to look at. I have always fancied one of these good looking naked bikes and will be happy to fettle it and keep it a long while for short trips to and fro work, short ride outs on dry days and the odd trackday. I can buy it for £2600 but what are my risks.and the cots asoociated? eg if the servo system is f***ed, the FD or gearbox? did they have known problems? what might be a few example costs of the remedy's?
