Honestly can’t remember who I purchase it from. They all belonged to you oncedidn’t Paul B the HPI guy have it as well?
I’ve seen those yellow panels with chains on before on a bike on here…..a few years ago…trying to think of the name of the guy who was selling the bike with them on……..

There's a load of value in that even with a haggle for the price of a new set of tyres...Local dealer has an old R1150R for sale . Looks pretty mint . Sorry didn’t take a photo . Only 4000 ish miles and still has servo brakes and original tyres . So needs new tyres and a service . They’re asking £2k .
Apparently it books at £800 !!

I'd rather get a non servo (that would be a 2003-on twin spark) or completely non ABS R, but for that price it is a lot of motorbike regardless and could make sense.
They still look very nice if kept "neat" too.

The yellow/blue ISH scheme was a colour option and came out at the same time as the 1150ADV as they were both displayed and BMW HQ when I was on a training course, we then had a demo and I sold a couple at the dealer I worked at... I liked it but it was quickly overtaken by the Rockstar incarnation... The direction of travel of the R and ADV has been on a slightly different trajectory...![]()
My 1150R is a twin spark non abs model.. just standard brakes from new,
