Please, has anyone recently sourced a new battery for their 850/1100/1150?

My best current price for a decent battery is £99 from Vines (Feb special). Has anyone recently bettered that?

Yes. Motorworks for the OEM batt about £70.

Just bought a new gel battery for my 1150 from Sherlocks, including vat and next day delivery is was £78.25. Nice people to deal with.

Paid £46 for Lucy's 1100 battery about a month ago from ManBat

I ;ve put one of these on my 1100 RT .......needed to make up some terminal tags , and used a bit of polystyrene to pack it out as it's smaller than the Gel battery that was installed , but it does the trick , and cheap too .

Yes I got a £35 gel battery from Revs in Hull when I first bought the GS 3 years ago on the basis that 1. I was skint after buying the bike and 2. since the alternative was £99 then if it only lasted 1/3 of the time it wouldn't owe me a lot - it's still on the bike and works fine
