I have been trying to help a young guy buy his first large bike and he is keen on a Cruiser style. By chance, a very dear old friend has said that he would be happy to sell his 1200c. It is a 1998 on S plate in perfect nick with only 6000 miles, it has been in his shed unused for many years. Cream and blue with leather panniers and seat. He has left me to make him a fair offer and says he has seen them advertised at anything between £2 - £6k. Just looking on e bay/mcn there aren't that many for sale and they are more in the range £7-8K, which seems a lot for something that I don't think was that popular at the time. Any thoughts on what a realistic price is, know of any that have sold recently? Any input would be appreciated.
