BMW R1200 GS Adventure 30 year anniversary model

2010 bike with 64,000 miles.

New tyres (Pirelli Rally STR)

Recent BMW dealer service

New MOT

BMW aluminium top box and panniers (all use the ignition key)

Heated grips

ABS

Tyre pressure sensors

ESA suspension

This was a 1 owner bike when I bought it from Vines Motorrad in 2011 with 1800 miles on it

It’s always been garaged, and serviced to schedule

It’s in standard condition apart from the following sensible extras:
  • Cool cover riders seat cover
  • LED long range driving lamps (in addition to the standard fit spots)
  • HID dip beam
  • Mudsling & fender extender
  • Hyperpro ESA suspension front & rear (original BMW suspension units F&R are included in the sale)
  • Side stand foot
  • Handlebar risers
Please note the sat nav mounting bracket shown in the photos will be removed from the bike prior to sale, it is not included in the sale.

Service history is mainly BMW main agent plus some easy stuff I do myself like oil & filter which I keep a record of.

The bike comes with two keys (plus plastic master key) and the owners handbook.

The usual problem with the fuel strip on these bikes means that the fuel gauge doesn’t work properly. I started to work on a fix for this by fitting a float to replace the problematic fuel strip but it’s still not working properly and I haven’t got round to finishing the job. TBH I’m a bit old school so I reset the trip every time I fill up anyway...

Comes with a complete set of invoices and all the MOT docs. This has been a great bike over the 14 years I’ve owned it, and I'm looking for £3750.

Bike is in Cranleigh, Surrey.

That’s what I was hoping, and not too far away for a change! Hope all ok your end John? I was riding around your neck of the woods on Monday. We stopped at that T junction by Jeremy Clarkson’s pub, and my riding buddy said ‘shall we stop for a drink?’ I said we didn’t have enough time to spare waiting to be served! Amazing what a bit of unpopularity, mixed with the right publicity can do, eh? 😳
