R1200GR Recall

I had the notice yesterday and was told by Williams it related to the battery software update. Going in at the end of the month, they say they're clogged with worried owners. I was told that the older the bike the longer the update takes to download... 5 hours in the case of my April 04 model...

And I have never had a letter !! since I bought it in Feb'05 - My bike lasts 4 weeks in the garage being left alone with the alarm on - after that not enough in the battery to start - Is that normal?

Mine was March 05 and has had the update (last week). And, no, a battery should last more than 4 weeks!
