R1200GS 2010 Twincam, Help required!

Just taken off the left side rocker cover, removed the 2 bolts, pulled the spark plug cap off, lost a little oil as usual, then a rubber thing, oblong shape about 3 inches by 1 in and 3/4 inch thick fell on floor as I removed the cover. anyone know where this goes ?? and what its for? I guess I need it back in there before I fit the new rocker cover!!! anyone know or where I can see a diagram ?

Thanks, looks a useful site. I talked it through on the phone with my bmw dealer, it fits at the botton under the valve gear, once you know roughly where it goes it only fits one way, easy when you know, had me baffled though, live and learn. all now sorted. ta
