My wife has been trying to negotiate a deal to get some free clothing along with the new bike from the dealer over here. Apparently there is a waiting list for the GSA and they are not giving away any "gizzits". However, they are prepared to offer a 10% discount on any dealer fit/supply extras.

Not brilliant but neither is it too bad.

Have to say, I was pretty happy with the deal on mine from same dealer last year - so much so that I wrote a little thank you letter - something I've never done before.

I can't complain about them. They have been very helpful and their offer of 10% off all extras is great. It must be some bike if NI has a waiting list of 10.

The official line from any dealers south of the border is that they only get 20% margin on accessories and clothing from BM so I guess its the same in UK dealers.

If this is the case, they could give you 20% off some stuff as a sweetener, but I doubt you'd get much more than the 10%...

Shame they dont do the deal they offered in Germand last year.. buy the bike and get 2grands worth of accessories with a 50% discount..

I blame the importers.. The dealers have to make a living...
