R1200GS HP............coming Spring/Summer 2005

Heard at Rainbow yesterday that details of the uprated R1200GS HP special have been released.

They're a bit sketchy.........

But goes along these lines............

Stripped down, lighter weight bike with a more 'off-road' orientation.

Clear petrol tank (obviously there is no guage or again it doesn't work)

Single Seat

More power

Spoke wheels

Uprated longer travel fully adjustable suspension (maybe electronically controlled)


Special order only.................limited build

Less is most definitely more then. It sounds great but 14K:gosh I’ll have a second hand one in about 10 years time Test rides don't cost anything though

That'll be the rumoured megamoto series then. They asked me to be a rider but I simply don't have the time
