I got an 04 model for £4800 with full BMWSH, minimal corrosion, full set of hard luggage and a couple of very minor battle scars here and there. it's since done 3K miles without a hiccup. A good deal? :nenau
 
05 GS, nice condition laced with extras cost me £5k last year. Removed £900 of extra so net cost £4.1k. Ended up buying £500 of other gear though however kept many things like GSA screen.

WHAT THE OWNERS SAY
2 had good things to say and the other had nothing but trouble,3 gearboxes,battery issues and clutch packed up and the dreaded fpc on both bikes .
my old 1150 adv done 15000 miles rain and crap only ,not one hiccup in 3 years . did not even wash it ..bought a 1200 and now worried about doing a trip on it .:blast

people used to say the world was flat,the end is nigh etc,:eek:

mines an 05 never broken down,crashed it and snapped the front end off:rolleyes:,repaired it done 30k since,includeing writeing off :thumb2a car who turned left on me:eek

just ride it mate its the bollocks.
