Moreso that some are offering fiches that end in '04 and all don't display the GS/A.

Then you wouldn't have to go to a dealer and could just buy the parts wherever you want. It might not work for everyone, but it certainly works for a huge number of people. And it's just as well that it does, otherwise BMW'd not be making any money and wouldn't bother their arse developing, supporting, or possibly even producing, bikes.
