R1200GS Rear Diff (Differential)- HELP PLS

[M4TR1200GS]

Any advice will be appreciated, is there any way of telling the age of production for a rear final drive off of a R1200GS?

Having purchased one second hand it appears there are differences pre/post 06 models (which can affect the speed sensor read out)

Mine has the following numbers, is any one able to tell me what they are/mean before stripping the bike and finding its not suitable

But on the dark black circular casing has numbers 22

Hi, these were the stampings on my early 06 they did an up-date mid 06.

i have never paid much attention to the casting marks pat has pictured and dont know if you can date the fd with them.
the late 06 fd has a physically bigger abs sensor so if your sensor fits the hole you should be ok.
if you split the fd there is a date stamp inside (month/year)
