R1200GS RUSTING PROBLEMS

I'm 90% sure corrosion at the bottom of the front cover is caused by the plastic cover vibrating and rubbing through the paint. A gasket & Loctite 518 will stop it rubbing.

The old airheads had no corrosion issues on engine. They weren't painted or powder coated.

Yes I have a new gs and it's corroding all over the place Mainly the engine

It's very very poor and of course the shop blames me saying I don't wash it enough they also said I wash it with the wrong products it's all bull shi?
The truth is its a problem with the finish of the bike
I have contacted BMW uk today I will let u know what happens

So what actually are you washing it with?

And how old is the bike that is troubling you?
