Well these bloody spoked wheels are doing my head in.

Got a set, sent them to be checked and tuned so all good. Stripped and painted and looking tidy. Thought i will get a new set of discs and pads, well what a hassle. Firstly bought two rears by accident went to install then noticed my error.

So got a set from good patron on here, the abs ring wouldn’t fit.

Next set of discs found but now I think they need bobbins. So thought as I have a set of new pilot road 6s coming ready for fitting this week I thought I’ll just take the discs off the set of wheels on there the now. I had already bought new disc bolts so went to use them tonight and looks like the spoked wheel disc bolts are shorter. Aaaargh I had installed first 6 and was tightening down when noticed.

Can someone confirm as I might need to cut these down be simplest way to get the wheels balanced.

So if someone had said 6 months ago the wheels would be the biggest hassle o would of laughed.

I’ve got longer wheel bolts for rear wheel they came with the wheels.

Joys, had a look on real oem for size and both GS and GSA use M8x27 there is no way a 27mm is going in there. Can anyone confirm please?

God wheels with discs and tyres will nearly cost more than bikes worth..
