Well... when you put it like that... go on then you've twisted my arm! LOL. TBH it's worth it just so I can see the 'for sale' forum. There's a few bits and pieces I need, not least of which a top box / panniers.

As you can (hopefully) see from my profile I'm now a fully subscribed tosser!

Oil Filler Cap Tool?

Am I the only person who undoes it / does it up with his/her fingers?

My bike is a 54 reg, registered in December 2004. If the tool kit that was in it is as bad as yours then it sounds like I'm not missing much.

If I can't find the original anywhere then I'll need to get a tool bag that will fit under the seat and fill it with 'proper' tools. The spark plug remover and oil filter spanner I'll have to get from Motorworks though (great... MORE money! )

Got a free one if you want it just pay p&p. Not complete but got spark plug spanner and the scewdriver also the suspension adjuster spanner and other bits Pm me if you want. Dave.(front). By the way got a set of spare panniers .

I've only been a member of this forum for a week or two and I'm blown away by just how generous and helpful people have been on here.

Just use your fingers, it's cheaper.

The beemer tool kit is shit. Your best putting your own together. The main thing you'll need is the little widget thingy for opening the oil filler cap. You can probably buy one cheaply from BMW or maybe Nippy or Motorworks.
