Would someone kindly check the price

on a R1200GS top box c/w mounting plate and lock

Ive been quoted £256 which includes a 10% discount

just seems quite alot

has anyone else bought one recently, if so is £256 correct

That is the same as I got quoted yesterday by Williams, except I wasn't offered the 10%.

Got mine thrown in with the bike, although since the dealer is in Poland this probably isn't much help.

I use it 99% of the time, almost always fully expanded, plus the inner bag. Very practical. Carries a suit, shirt, shoes, docs and a laptop as well in emergencies (although I prefer to use the tank bag for this).

It is a bit loose on the mountings, an issue others have noticed, but doesn't seem likely to fall off, rather rattle a bit (can't be heard with earplugs)

The quote you got is substantially lower than I have just received. Could you post the full name and phone number of 'Williams' please?

Can you get back pads for these anyone?

I was quoted £350 but got it thrown in for free with the bike. It's a pretty small discount when you paying £10350 for a bike but better than nothing
