Chaps,
I've recently had a low speed low side on the tarmac on my GSA causing a bit of cosmetic damage. BMW have enthusiastically replaced lots of parts.
They have kindly let me keep all the old parts, most of which I am struggling to find damage on!
To my surprise the bits I have in my garage include:
Front beak (red) (No apparent damage)
Front exhaust downpipes (No apparent damage)
Front wheel (No apparent damage)
Red tank top panel (tiny scratch if you look hard enough)
Black tank left hand side panel (slight dent and scratch)
Left hand pannier (all welds intact but with some repairable damage on 1 corner)
Various bits of crash bars and windscreen mounts.
If anyone thinks these bits may be of interest to any of the guys riding R1200 GSA's then please post your comments.
The bits are off an 08 red and black GSA (less than a year old - just)
If there is any interest I may photograph the parts and put them up for sale at a reasonable price which will go some way towards clawing back my insurance excess.
Cheers,
Ken
