Well after sometime and much mashing of teeth I have eventually put pen to paper and ordered a R1200GSA TE.

I considered and test rode several previous versions, but I think the latest version is the right package for me.

Only 58 more sleeps to go !

Not sure how you'll manage to sleep at all, with that awesome steed on its way.....

Getting my 2014 GSA TE in the morning.

Bought it in December but didn't want it till I had sold my old one.

Spent hours on various websites looking at farkles to put on my birthday list, saw my bike in Bahnstormers showroom yesterday to see 90% of my wish list is already on the bike!

In fact there will be a few things for sale soon as I don't want all the bits on it.

Gonna be difficult sleeping tonight, funny how we can still get excited at 50!

Congrats guys, it's a great bike. I may be changing mine later in the year, and I honestly can't think of anything that comes close.

Well done mate, moto gp will have started,tt round the corner, shite weather gone by the time you get your new bike, look forward to some snaps!

well done, glad you have finally brought one with a big boys engine! look forward to seeing you on some of the usr duties this year. Maybe we could pair up on duties. Mind you mine is only a 64 plate.
seriously congrats and hope you enjoy

Nice choice!
Well I would say that, as after 18 months on an RT LC I couldn't resist getting my third GSA.
Loving it!

I have pxd my Multistrada and F800GS to get the new machine. I will still be on the 800 for the FBOS course, unless it's sunny then I might drag something else out :-)

Hope to get some European WSBK action and a ride to the Picos and West coast of French France in September.

Nice one. I picked up my new GSA TE last day of Sept last year. My first BMW and my first Adv bike. They are awesome and you will love it :thumb2

Ordered mine yesterday too, a nice shiny red one for March 1st. Must admit my biggest dilemma was saying goodbye to my 2014 GSA in Olive Green

But to be honest when I worked out the cost for a new warranty, a set of new tyres before my trip and apart from the running in service this year it was a no brainer.

Looking forward to the new bike but will be sad to leave Olive...

What was the cost to change, out of interest? I'll be ordering a new one around August time. PM me if you prefer.:thumb

Makes me wonder why I am waiting nearly two months and you only three weeks !

I might have been lucky, I popped in to Cannons BMW on Friday and they seem to have topped up their pre order stock with more coming, even had three Tri Colour s1000xr un allocated.

I could have ridden mine away yesterday as it was in the shop ready to go, but they are going to store it along with all the other bikes ready for collection in March.
