Hello, with the R1200R becoming more and more popular I was wondering if we could have our own section please?

I would be willing to help out if need be, any chance Admins

I only got it last November and there is only a couple of hundred miles on it. So far it just does everything that the bandit 12 it replaces did, but a little bit better, and with a lot less fuel.

I have to say that the fact that the GS's are more common did sway me towards the R12r. At least I can say that I have one of last bikes to come out of BMW without ABS.

ABS is still an option on the R.
They had a launch day on saturday and a lot of people seemed interested in the Classic version of the R. Me, I ordered a standard one because of the tubed tyres mainly and wasn't too sold on the chrome bits either...

You are right, dunno where I heard everything BMW was going to have ABS now, maybe its a US thing or something? Don't think I made it up

Hope you get your R12r section, have to say I was a bit disappointed having paid my subscription to have to dig around for R12r stuff. After all, the Xchallenge has its own section and I think I own half of the Xchallenges in N.Ireland.
