This bike is the 2013 90th anniversary edition and comes with ACS, ESA ( T Tech serviced in 2024), traction control, cruise control, powered windscreen, gear indicator and heated grips and seat, engine guards.
This is a genuine, usable touring bike rather than a showroom ornament and has been used as my work commute for the past 8 years.

It is 13 years old and was used in all weathers during my ownership so there are some age-related marks and some mild corrosion showing, as expected.
Please see the photos for the cosmetic condition.
Mechanically, it has been very well looked after and presents as a sensible, honest R1200RT with regular maintenance history as per BMW requirements.
Paintwork and panniers have been protected with Ventura shield protection film.
There are marks on the rims from tyre changing, with corrosion on engine and light corrosion on the frame.
I am sorry to be letting it go as it is a fantastic bike but no longer required for my commute, but would make a great tourer for someone.
MOT till 15/07/2027 54755 miles.

Location please for this fine machine…. ( have a mate looking for a good RT)

AHH, well you cant please all of the people all of the time.
I'm a firm believer in if you want a certain bike, make the effort and travel for it regardless of distance + you will know exactly what you've bought on returning home. I bought this exact same 90 yr RT in York, train down from NE Scotland and rode it home. Was in similar condition, great runner, and I refurbished it over 3 or 4 weeks, near showroom when done. If someone buys it and wants some pics of before & after and a few hints... get in touch 👍 future classic is the 90 Jare Twin Cam RT

Exactly, I live in West Yorkshire and I once travelled all the way down to Deal on the extreme South Coast to view a bike which I then bought because it was exactly what I’d been looking for. 👍

I went over to Belgium to buy my last machine.

It’s well worth travelling for the right bike.

This one is well maintained and is keenly priced too.

I can vouch for Fink, known him for years since the early Bikers Oracle days, a very trust worthy guy who know knows his way around bikes.

I am the same, having bought bikes from Bristol, South Wales and most recently outside Gloucester. 😁👍

Ring seller and speak to them... I've bought bikes from all over and lived in Shetland for nearly 20years... My questions always ended with "I want to pick it up and ride home with no probs etc" I've always found Ukgser's to be good to buy from and some have gone well out of their way to make it work out...👍
