Can anyone tell me what years the BMW R1200RT had servo brakes? I have been told them stopped them in 2006? Does this mean 2006 models do not have them??

The servo powered ABS brakes on the 2005 and 2006 models were partially integrated such that the rear brake pedal only applies the rear brake while the front brake lever applies both brakes. For the 2007 model year, servo assist was removed from the partially integrated brakes. A new, more advanced and lighter ABS system was produced by Continental Teves, which also produced the optional Automatic Stability Control (ASC),[5] in BMW's traction control system for motorcycles.[6]

The answer is- it depends ...
The production changed to the i-ABS unit in late 2006 for the 07 model year.
It is likely that early '07 plate bikes are the servo unit, allowing for bikes that were on dealer order, or unsold stock.
Late '07 and '57 on plates will be the i-ABS system, but you will be aware that early units are now failing due to the pump brushes binding in the brush holders.
This affects all of the R and K bikes until 2010, when ATE revised the motor baseplate.

That's a residential street, likely a guy working out of his shed and charging a lot of dosh for what is an hours work.

He's offering 3 months warranty. BBA Reman can repair the same pump on a 2010 Ford Fiesta ABS pump with lifetime warranty.

To answer the original question, my bike is non servo i-abs, ordered and built in March 2007, so unless you look at a late registered 2006 bike, all 07 bikes should be the same.
