R1250 Rallye with black wheels

If they are a good dealer probably nothing as I would say there would be plenty of non Rallye customers who would like to have a set of gold wheels as a “no cost upgrade”.
I think the exclusive looks better with the gold wheels than the Rallye does.

As long as they don’t fit some of the recalled wheels with loose spokes :P

Looks good but black wheels are a bugger to keep clean.

Dealer has confirmed the swap will be at zero cost, should I purchase.

And the gold ones aren’t? I wager you’ll definitely have to spend more time to keep the bling looking sparkly.

Back to Nutty GSer soon then?

Welcome noob :D

He's a blody wind up! He tells me how much flipping better the 1290 is and then the moment I give up my GSA TB and order 1290, he's looking at the flippin' 1250 rallye! Or even worse, at the Multi WTF?? LOL

A buddy of mine has just ordered an Adventure HP with Black wheels.......the dealer had another customer enquiring about gold wheels so it all worked out fine.

Hi
Anyone know where I can get some gold annodised wheels for my 2018 GS Rallye.
If you prefer black then a straight swap maybe.
Thanks

Think I must be somewhere in the middle. I think the black wheels on a white body look great, whilst gold wheels on a GS are not for me. But I do find black wheels, especially alloys, on a TB a little plain and dowdy, and kinda wish they were more the grey colour as on my 2017 TE Exc.

Got to pay subs first.

I was told that they are all coming in black , however, I did wonder if you specified gold wheels maybe you get gold calipers.

The on line configurator shows black calipers on the 40th anniversary, triple black and ice grey colour schemes but gold on the Rallye spec

Matters not a jot to me as mine is definitely coming with black wheels and black calipers

I’ve ordered mine with black wheels.

What have you ordered?

Basic r1250gsa triple black but specced up with touring/comfort packs, tpms and a couple of other items, it is in essence a TE without ESA, GSAP ,SOS and the new indicators.

The Maxton shocks off my 1200 will be going on it over the winter, I said no more new bikes but after issues with mine this year and the insured BMW warranty being £43 a month I am buying it for the three year warranty.

To be honest the same as this year the TDM900 will be getting used most of the time and the 1250 for holidays and longer days out , as for the f800gsa it will probably be sold in the spring.

I thought about the new 1200 Triumph that is coming out next year but not sure about our lical dealer and our nearest KTM dealership is now nearly 100 miles away via particularly boring roads.

We will have to see
