Hello,

Is there anybody that uses a heat deflector for catalytic converter. Which brand? Does it work?

Why? What brand have you found? Does it work to achieve what?

I feel the heat at my right foot. I don't have one. That's why I am asking, if someone has solved the problem. There are many brands in the market. Puig, Twalcom, Motadd etc

I fitted one on my R1200GS - some Italian make, not Puig. The bike is gone now and I can't remember details. It seemed to help a little but I did end up fitting de-cat headers to solve the problem once and for all.

Very funny but I have never ridden my bike without boots. The heat is not at foot. It is high at leg.

So if its high at leg - are you sure its def coming off the exhaust and not some sort of blow back off the radiator? Could it be you need to deflect the heat from that? Or might there be something in the fins of the radiator causing it to not cool so mucg - on my mate's Triumph, we found his rad pretty full of mud, washed it all out and the bike ran a lot cooler

It is from catalytic converter. Yesterday I have installed the heat shield from Motadd and at least 50% is gone.
