The recent sale of John Nicholson’s Aprilia Tuareg, has started me thinking of my collection and I’ve made the decision to rationalise. The Tuareg will be next, but first we have my 1250 Rallye TE

Lot’s of options for a potential buyer, but first the basics:

Reg Dec 2021- Mileage 13,418 Miles
Full TE specification including the updated lean angle ABS that I think came in from 2021, heated grip, sus pro etc.
Bendy headlight - cornering light which I understand is now called headlight pro?
V Stream Polycarbonate headlight guard
HP Akropovic Silencer
HP Mirrors
HP Levers
HP Gear Change
Lowered pegs - or HP Pegs
Low Rallye Seat or High Rallye Seat
Front and back twin seats
Adventure Pannier Frames (currently has Touratech on and I have Zega panniers)
Twin seat rear adventure rack or the shorter Rallye rack (I’ll post photo’s of the extras afterwards) or standard rack for Vario top box
Screens - pick any two - Standard, sports, GS Adventure (on in the photo’s) or smoked Puig Touring Screen with spoiler
Screen Brace
Infill Panels
Crud catcher
Front mudguard extender
EvoTech rear bevel guards
Barkbusters
Touratech 4 Point mounting Cylinder guards (much better than the BMW ones but they’ve never been needed)
Givi Top Box Plate
Rear Tyre - Conti TA3 - I think about 800 miles since- Front Michelin Anakee
Recent set of Brembo sintered pads front and back
Wesier Technik Brake & turn signal module (lights the rear central light and turn’s off the brake light on the side that’s indicating - Brilliant, brilliant safety upgrade

Full BMW Service history with the last done in Nov 24 - it’s done about 100 miles since. There was some paint bubbling on the swinging arm and the final drive, so these were both replaced by BMW under warranty at the same time. (Hat off to you BMW)

Extra’s at extra cost - Touratech frames and Zega panniers - set of Black Alloy wheels with new BMW discs and a new Cont TA3 on the front wheel

The bike is near Kendal in Cumbria, so easy access via the West Coast main line.

It’s a lovely, lovely bike - £11,500

Now that looks like a great buy, but boo hoo, my bike fund piggy bank is empty 😭

By the way, I’m not really into bling for bling’s sake, but the HP (same as 719) mirrors were an absolute revelation. The quality of the optics is just something else and also rock solid.

And I forgot to mention Lloyds BMW Carlisle - who sorted the replacement of the swinging arm and bevel box - Amazing service and I forget the name of the young guy running the service department, but he reminds me of of Mick Lyon, who was the service director at Jefferies for donkey’s years and who was my reference point for the perfect service professional.

How tall are you? I’ve a 20 1/2 inch inseam and with the low rallye seat set on high, I can easily get my feet down.

I've seen this bike and it is lovely, meticulously cared for as Mark always does
