Any ideas how to remove this panel?

I'm going to wrap them in matt black and get rid of the white handguards and get some black one.

Nice bikes but they do seem to a bit busy with all the bits and pieces and colours.

I have said exactly the same to a mate of mine who has the same bike. The Ali looking plastic Baking plate looks like an after thought and the hand guards out of place !

My thoughts exactly when I got my GS Rallye. Had the aluminium plastic painted satin black and put black hand guards on.

I’ve put black hand guards on mine straight away and ordered it with the brushed aluminum tank because I found it to busy on the normal hp , think that way the aluminum side panels look good on it. Only thing I probably going to make black is the rear under tray

The panel you want is held on by 3 (I think) torx bolts from inside the black panel with the BMW badge and air intake. You need to remove a combination of the tank panel, and beak to remove it to get to the inside.

I had the black hand guards fitted by the dealer at purchase as really didn't like the white ones.

Hope this helps.

Are they OEM black handguards or aftermarket ?
