If anyone wants to make an offer please let me know.

I will also be loading all my bike clothing soon i.e. 2 x Klim suits, Klim gloves, Schuberth E2 helmet with comms, BMW Boots, Sidi Boots, BMW waterproofs, BMW windproofs, GS Jacket plus other kit I've forgotten - so if anything interests let me know but it'll be uploaded soon. Thanks Mark

Will consider sensible offers if anyone is interested.

Had the same Optimate and fused flying lead on 4 different BMWs, and it's worked perfectly. I just leave mine connected all the time I'm not riding it. For anyone who hasn't fitted one before there's a red positive post just forward of the battery umbehind the right hand cover which you can use to save having to take the battery out. Connect to that 1st, replace the red cover, then use the negative terminal on the battery for the black lead. Job done. GLWS 👍

Legend - just bought this one so thanks pal!

I was going to use the BMW connector on the side of the seat but decided I'll just hard wire straight to the battery.

I also use the SAE lead for my Keis heated vest and my airman pump in case I get a puncture, the latter is unlikely to work using the socket as Canbus only has a 5 amp current drain limit so it will cut the power to the pump. Using the SAE lead (fused) direct means you won't have that problem, but it's a good idea to have the engine running while using the pump to avoid a possible flat battery/subsequent starting problems 👍

When you take that cover off, removed the torx bolt 1st, then rotate the cover clockwise a few cm, the bottom securing lug will come out of the rubber gromet, then with the cover still in the same position pull it towards you to free it from the top front mounting point. Fitting is just the reverse process. A bit of copper grease on the 2 rubber grommets helps as they tend to get pushed through the frame mount if not done correctly so check they're still in place before you tighten the torx bolt up.
