Hi,
I had a search, but could not find any info on the site about the following:-

Gear change and brake levers. I got some brilliant Gilles for my R1300GS, but they don't do a set for the R1259RS.
Wunderlich do, but they seem to only offer fore and aft, not vertical adjustment.
BMW do, but crazy price.
I seem to recall hearing rumours that it is a bad idea to adjust the bottle screw going to the GSAP to change the height of the lever - true or false?
Also, my next standard job is Rad Guards. BMW on my 1300GS, but cannot locate ones on the BMW Motorrad site.
Any advice or link would be much appreciated.

I've never needed to visit the question of levers on mine as OE are fine. However I've fitted a mudsling to protect the rear shock & a rad guard, which is a replica of the R&G fitting, both acquired from AliExpress. Both Chinese items fitted perfectly first time - the plastic finish on the shock guard isn't perfect, but acceptable given that most of it is out of direct sight & of course remembering the considerable the price differential. Both are simple enough to remove should any subsequent owner so wish.

I just took the hugger off of my 1250 RS. I had put it on right after I bought it. But I heard some bad stories about those breaking off and causing much damage. When I ordered mine I quickly bought all the 719 stuff in a frenzy before I could rational my way out of it. But now it comes in handy as everything is adjustable and it does look good. Makes the bike a real head turner, truly. In fact it is a little embarrassing sometimes, lol
I also have the puig touring plus screen and that does work nice. In smoke color, it doesn't look to bad. I also have the up and back bar risers which do help. The tank ring and a couple of different tank bags which are shared with another bike, a big one and a small one.

Same here, plus the touring bar end weights, knock off rear mudsling, front fender extender and a copy of the wunderlich front engine cover protector. I have the 790mm rather than 820mm seat, MachineArt x heads, knock off aux lights, and a soundbomb mini in addition to the OE horn powered by a Hexezecan.

Nice bike, I do like the red white and blue, my GS has that. There is one of those, a 24 I believe for sale at the shop, they want 21000 ... low miles.
I did forget to mention I also have an SC Project slip on mine. It is a little loud but the bike has excellent throttle response. It is quiet unless you romp on it, then it sounds like a snarling porsche ..... I would love to post a pick, but I don't have the image server set up. Might be a pic of it on the RS forum somewhere or the R forum ....

HP Adjustable pegs, break and gear leavers. Dealer had them on sale.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for
replying.
The HP kit looks very tempting.
I will prob put on the Rad guard sooner rather than later.
I've heard folks complaining about the screen - depends a lot on size of the rider; I'm not a tall guy, and quite like being in the breeze, so I'll stay standard to start with.
I'm a fan of the bar end weights - my R1250GSA was very vibey until I added them - thanks for reminding me.
And definitely Aux lights - on my 1300GS they are what stand out in daylight to other road users.

Seen these 719 mirrors on another forum, wonder if anyone here could knock some adapters up?
