Sold R1250RT for sale

For sale is my 2019 BMW R1250RT in the a very dark metallic blue – bordering on black, when the sun isn’t shining on the metalflake.



I purchased the RT last year, following the sale of my GSA triple black to my Godson.



The reason for this was that I was too fat to get my leg over the GSA without scuffing something, and having enjoyed an older RT this was the solution.



I am now at a point where I am not using motorcycles like I used to (even last year) due to age / inclination and riding buddies still being employed.



I don’t need such a beautiful bike in the garage (in fact I have just bought a really old GS back from a chap I sold it too)



So that’s the reason for sale.



Anyway – to the bike. Firstly, it beautiful.



It’s the 1250 RT LE model, which means that it comes with all the whistles and bells such as central locking / radio/ USB / Keyless start / auto suspension / auto headlamps / Spots / cruise etc.



I deliberately looked for the analogue dials model due to the known issues with TFT screen



Mileage is 10k, and an MOT to next year. There is a full comprehensive service history, with the big £400 12k service two months ago – early I know, but planned to keep it for a fair while and have spent a fair bit on Farkle.



Brand new Michelin Road 6 GT’s are fitted – still with bobbles on!



Wunderlich crash bars are also an aftermarket accessory fitted.



Also fitted are a new W702 7’ Carpuride (with the correct fitting BMW adapter), and a high level rear brake light with chrome surround – if either / both are not wanted with the bike could reduce overall cost of the bike.



Comes with two keys, rather than the usual one, plus the little plastic emergency key.



In short – this is a jump on and ride without any extra expense needed on the bike.



I have also just had the bike professionally ceramic coated with a three year application put on

What a superb touring set up, Ive had a few RTs and they never cease to amaze me how comfi surefooted and agile they are, this one with Road 6s on it will be a delight to ride, all set up to just jump on and go for that money !! very nice
