R1300GS 2024 Air filter

Folks has anyone changed their air filters recently? Ther reason I ask was that my mate sent me a link today to DNA filters which when fitted ( for the sum of £415.70) would provide a power increase apparently of 5-7bhp and provide a lovely throaty sound from the exhaust now I still have the oem exhaust on and no great rush to fit on a new slip on as I still have a cracking Bodis slip on to sell from my last bike the Kawasaki h2 sx before I can afford to do that. Was. just interested to see if anyone has changed the filters , what results did you get and lastly did you enquire to see if the warranty would be affgected if indeed you were within a warranty period .

All R1300GS bikes will still be inside the 3 year BMW Warranty.
No idea if it will effect your warranty by fitting.

I guess it will depend on what has gone wrong. I would not want to push my luck if it was anything engine related.

FFS …surely that cannot be correct, or does it include 2 hours labour for fitting?

I spoke to the service manager at the Bmw dealer where im going to take the bike for future servicing his answer was " according to him he didnt think it would effect the warranty at all, but that was only his interpretation."

I have 2x dna filters fitted to my 1300gs to go with my full akrapovic system big improvement
But I only paid €112 in total from eBay for both filters

you can turn the twist grip to the max and get 140bhp

most owners with a chip and this air filter run around on part throttle with 50bhp - the issue lies in the road conditions and rider skill - not an empty wallet and BS on forums
