R1300GS Option 719 OEM Fog Light Relocation & Denali D7 Pro Install - Looking for Advice!

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member here, and I'm excited to join this community. My name is Leandro, and I'm a proud owner of a new R1300GS Option 719, located in South America.

I've been working on a project to install a pair of Denali D7 Pro lights, but I've run into a common issue related to the factory-installed OEM fog lights. I've considered two options to resolve this:

1. Uninstall the OEM lights: This option triggers a "something is missing" warning on the bike's system, which I want to avoid.
2. Relocate the OEM lights: This seems like the best solution, but it requires extending the wires and finding a new mounting location.

My preferred solution is to mount the OEM fog lights on the bike's crash bars. I'm hoping someone here has faced this challenge before.

• Has anyone successfully relocated their OEM fog lights on the R1300GS?
• How did you manage the wiring to avoid the system error?
• What hardware did you use for the new mounts and cable extensions?

I've also been looking at some Denali products that might work as wiring extensions, but I'm unsure about their compatibility. Can anyone confirm if either of these harnesses can be used to extend the OEM fog light wiring?

I’ve replaced the original aux lights on my 1250 gsa with Denali D3 and left the cables unplugged
No warning lights on dash

That’s because it’s a 1250, not a 1300.

The 1300 has a very sensitive canbus system you will need to install a HexCan system to control you Denali lights and anything else search Denali systems online

The Denali extension cables have totally different plugs than on the BMW fog lights. They won’t work.
