R1300GS screen frame has two sets of mounting holes

I'm 5'10" and have the standard height screen (I think) on my 2025 1300 GS Trophy. Mounted in the low position, up or down it was not just wind in my face, it is horribly noisy as hell. I moved it to the top mountings and with the screen up the wind goes over my head and is remarkably quiet.

There must be some weird airflow going on to make that much noise. Shape of the screen presumably.

This is a great point and something I've done almost inmediately.

I figured that it came on the low position due to me having the Trophy with the enduro package as you would want the screen as low as possible for offroad.

Does it come by default on all models in the low position?

Guess where its fitted is just up to the mechanic fitting it at the time.
There's only 4 screws, don't quite understand all the fuss.
It's pretty obvious it has two positions.

Just curious to know if it's random or tied to the model.

Definitely not a big fuzz

My GSA has the two mounting options.

Mine ( 1300gs triple black) came with screen in top position…

Mine (1300GS triple black) came with the bolts in the lower holes.

Sounds like it’s down to the guy who attaches the screen - probably done at the dealership or PDI centre.

VIN numbers which end with an odd number have it fitted on the lower holes.
And vice versa for even-numbered VINs. 👍

Mine’s the opposite but it’s left hand drive so I guess it makes sense
:nod
I also thought the French versions had the headlight orientated like a “+” whereas the UK right-hand drive versions have the headlight fitted “X”
Kinda makes sense for the different countries when you think about it. 👍

Only in left hand bends, on right handers it’s more like a “+”

Oh, hang on
