Hi, has anyone changed their sidestand on the adaptive height model from the fitted sidestand to the standard bike sidestand. Supposed to reduce the bike lean angle. Just wondered what difference it made. Also does anyone know the torque settings for the sidestand bolt and the smaller bolt that holds the sidestand switch.

I'd be interested to hear if this works. My bike leans way too far over on its side stand for comfort. I've started carrying around a piece of wood on string to rest the stand on!!
I was thinking of adding a foot plate to the bottom to make it better for softer ground - may help a bit.

I had a camel toe made which was 1"thicker, worked on the 1250GS. Main issue was when the bike was loaded.
I am thinking of adapting an off the shelf 'camel toe' but for some reason they are all sold out for the 1300 adventure. I wonder why

There is already a thread on this topic. Can’t recall where but my guess the 1300 section. A guy in Portugal is knocking really nice side stand raisers which fit exactly onto the 1300GS/A to compensate for the lean angle. A few on here have bought them including myself

I've been in touch with this guy, I'm really interested in buying one, but I'd like to know by how much it lifts the sidestand off the ground. For some reason he won't tell me, he just says "it makes it the same lean angle as the R1250GSA". I just want to stick a block of wood under the stand that'll lift it by the same amount to check that it suits me.
Do you have any pics of yours?
Does it catch the swing arm or centre stand when raised?
And how long did it take to arrive?

I’m still waiting on mine. It’s normally a week or so but there was a delay on parts getting to him due to the storms in Portugal.
I could be wrong, as I don’t have mine yet, but I recall someone saying it’s about 30mm. You get a replacement rubber stop for the side stand so it doesn’t interfere.

I have one as well, Miguel Paxio is his name, it also come with a piece to stop it hitting the centre stand

Well, I've ordered one from Miguel, he says 15 days to delivery.
I was also considering the Evotech one, but it is currently out of stock. This one lifts the sidestand by 12mm, which felt OK when I tried my 'calibrated' block of wood, but it was still leaning quite a bit.
I've got one of Miguels side stand extenders and it's good. Keeps the bike far more upright and easier to get off the side stand.
I've seen that other people have bought 3 or 4 normal side stand feet from Aliexpress stacked them and screwed together. Far cheaper

Pity Miguel doesn't keep a few in stock...
Fitted mine yesterday with Loctite blue screwfix glue. One thing I did notice on my GSA, I added the extra extender bolt which simply screwed into the side stand but I didn’t add any rubber bung. The rubber bung sits in the centre stand and therefore didn’t need moving. Seems to be all good

Fitted the Evotech side stand plate to mine today, well made nice piece of kit (~£45 I believe). They do an extended height one that seems to be the type your after. They delivered within a couple of days a d customer service is excellent
