Hi all my starter motor had been playing up so took the tank and cover off to have a look a it ....i put a screw driver across the terminals to see if it would turn over but nothing so out it came put a new set of brushes in it put it back in the bike starting great but now the charging light is staying on all the time .......

so any ideas what could be the problem maybe some thing i have done when taking the starter in or out ....or what could be causing the light to stay on all the time thanks for any ideas....Davey

i have looked threw the threads to do with charging and it sounds like the rotar but it was just the bike was charging ok before i took the starter out to fix it then put the starter back in started the bike and now the charging light stays on and just stays fully on even when i rev the bike ......
