A bit more time now to crack on...
Here it was:1991 R65 GS, 48000Km

Frame, forks powder coated and put back together as well as drive shaft:P1010929.JPG
Carburators O rings, diaphragms renewed.
So far a piece of cake but here is the bit I'll need help and guidance with:P1010935.JPG

I have this leak on both sides:

and was advised by Kenny on a previous post to replace the base gaskets and the pushrod tube rubbers which is the first thing I'm planning to do. Any advice on that or pretty straight forward? Planning on following Haynes step by step... What parts would I need? While I'm there, anything else on the valves parts I should replace? I remember Proff telling me something to be done on the valves at 50000km...

How does the timing chain tensioner and guide look like to you? To be replace or not?

Sorry about the low level of technicity of this thread... newby at work... but really enjoying the money pit project so far!
Any advice more than welcome
Cheers

It's coming on well Vincent :thumb2
Pushrod rubbers.
if Pushrod tubes are corroded replace with stainless ones..
not a hard job, ask England Kev
Exhaust valves need replacing @ 40k miles so about now would be fine whilst heads are off :thumb2

Great! Thanks, I've ordered the parts and will let you know how I get on...
Cheers
