Hi all,

I'm hoping someone out there might have some good condition fairing parts that they've been unable to shift or know where I can find some.

Alternatively I'm taking recommendations for reasonable paint shops around Sheffield for a respray that won't break the bank - I'm not after show-bike quality, just after a consistent colour rather than the patchy mess I have at the moment.

As you allude to in your link, every time an RT or (even worse!) and RS is stripped to make a crapy bobber, those bodywork bits find their way onto ebay. Plenty on there usually.

Yeah, I'm certainly keeping an eye out - there's one set that could be promising but it's a little far from me and may have some damage not visible in the pictures. I've also seen fewer side panels and mudguards on eBay in the past. I just thought worth checking here for any that might be lying around after an unsuccessful eBay listing!

It was so hot in my garage loft, I couldn’t stay up there very long.

That black mark is dirt - not paint damage

I think I may have the fairing lowers too but couldn’t put my hands on them.

There is a scruffy screen.

There is a complete under seat toolbox.

No fairing pockets

Thanks, I'm not sure I would've been up in a loft today! I'd definitely be keen to take the parts you've photographed off your hands and get them back into use, and the lowers too if they turn up once the temperature drops. I already have a spare screen, toolbox and set of pockets so that's no issue.

Perhaps DM me what you're looking for in exchange for them, I assume based on your profile the parts are near Woking?
