R80 5 speed gearbox

i dont mind being named and shamed,
to be fair, the tank is in good nick ;) its the look i was going for, inside it its perfect,
as for everything else..... well thats me and my bodgry

Hi Logan,

I hope you didn't mind the 'tongue-in-cheek' posting :D :D.

As you may have seen under the 'Scotland' Section, I've got it apart and have ordered a load of bits. It will be a bit neater when you get it back (and hopefully the clutch will be light - I've ordered a new cable as well).

I tried to 'phone you yesterday but your phone was off - I hope you're happy with the clutch friction plate I've ordered.

I keep wanting to spray that tank ( :blast ) and wondered if anyone would notice if I used brown Hammerite ;).

It will arise again :thumb.

Bob.

Lol. I don't mind a good ribbing. I honestly didn't think it was in such rough state. In the couple of thousand miles I've done on it. It never made any funny noises. Although the clutch has always been quite tight. But I just thought it was a BMW dry clutch thing after reading a few posts. No painting my tank. I had to take about 10 layers of paint off to get it to bare metal. I'll clear coat it with 2 pack when it's home. I've purposely gone for the ratty look :) didn't think the mechanicals matched the look . Hehe. Sorry phone was dead yesterday. I had no charger at work.
Thanks for every thing so far. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the destruction in the box

That's a cracking finish Rob! Any shots of your equipment?

I sold it due to lack of space. It was a one of these
